WARSZTATY

Zapraszamy na warsztaty gry na bębnach z Markiem Malinowskim, podczas których poznacie tradycyjne afrykańskie rytmy do grania na djembe i które po dziś dzień tańczy się w Afro i bluesie. Warsztaty te odbędą się na przepięknym patio Konsulatu, więc pobędziemy w tę letnią noc razem i pogramy na świeżym powietrzu.

Udział w warsztatach gry na bębnach djembe:
– z własnym bębnem (10 miejsc) – 50 zł
– udział + wypożyczenie bębna (będzie dostarczony na miejsce, 15 sztuk) – 80 zł

Nocy Kupały, czyli tradycyjna noc słowiańskich pogan, w czasie której tańczono wokół ogniska, w tym roku wypada w dniu 20.06. Niestety jest to czwartek, a że przygotowaliśmy dla Was wyjątkową gratkę, przenosimy Noc Kupały na piątek, aby świętować ją w niezwykły sposób do późnych godzin nocnych.  

Będzie to wieczór bębnów oraz koncertów muzyki afrykańskiej i bluesowej wraz z dużą dawką tańca!  

Co wspólnego mają ze sobą afrykańskie i słowiańskie tradycje pogańskie? Otóż są to tańce w kręgu, obrządki, budujące poczucie wspólnoty, do której każdy może się przyłączyć oraz wolnościowy taniec, w którym każdy wyraża siebie.

KONCERT BĘBNIARZY DJEMBE

Koncert 3 bębniarzy z dawnego składu zespołu Cocodjembe pod przewodnictwem Marka Malinowskiego, podczas którego będzie można potańczyć na scenie cudnego Teatru Konsulatu Kultury.

LEKCJĘ TAŃCÓW AFRYKAŃSKICH

Lekcję wprowadzającą do tańców afrykańskich z wybitną tancerką i nauczycielką afro z Warszawy – Viola Wojciechowską. Poznacie podstawowe ruchy afro z Afryki Zachodniej oraz dowiecie się, jak wziąć udział w tańcu afro w kręgu i jamie tanecznym z innymi tancerzami naszej społeczności.

POKAZ TAŃCÓW AFRYKAŃSKICH

Pokazy tańców afrykańskich oraz bluesowych w wykonaniu instruktorów międzynarodowej rangi, pochodzących z Polski (Viola Wojciechowska), Kanady (Dan Repsch) oraz Stanów Zjednoczonych (Flouer Evelyn).

KONCERT BLUESOWY

Koncert zespołu bluesowego The Blues Sister & Brother z Warszawy wraz z gośćmi grającymi na harmonijce i nie tylko. 🙂   

POTAŃCÓWKĘ

Potańcówkę z muzyką na żywo (Afro, blues) oraz naszymi wspaniałymi DJami z Harlem Beats.

A DRUMMING WORKSHOP

Drumming workshop with Mark Malinowski, during which you will learn traditional African rhythms to play on the djembe and which are still danced today in Afro and blues. This workshop will be held on the beautiful patio of the Konsulat Kultury, so let’s stay in this summer night and play outdoors.

Participation in the djembe drum workshops:
· with your own drum (10 places) – 50 PLN (about 12 Euro)
· participation + rental of the drum (will be delivered to the site, 15 pieces) – 80 PLN (about 19 Euro)

All events that night:

Kupala Night, which is the traditional night of the Slavic pagans, during which they danced around a bonfire, this year falls on 20.06. Unfortunately, it’s Thursday, and since we have prepared a special treat for you, we are moving the Kupala Night to Friday to celebrate it in an unusual way until late at night.

It will be an evening of drums and concerts of African and blues music along with a lot of dancing!

What do African and Slavic pagan traditions have in common? Well, they are circle dances, rituals, building a sense of community that everyone can join, and a free dance in which everyone expresses themselves.

1. A DRUM CONCERT

A concert by 3 drummers from the former lineup of the Cocodjembe band led by Mark Malinowski, during which you will be able to dance on the stage of the wonderful Konsulat Kultury theater.

1. AN AFRICAN DANCE LESSON

An introductory lesson in African dances with an outstanding afro dancer and teacher from Warsaw, Viola Wojciechowska, during which you will learn the basic Afro moves from West Africa and how to participate in an Afro dance circle and dance jam with other dancers from our community.

1. AN AFRICAN DANCE PERFORMANCE

Demonstrations of African dances and blues dances performed by instructors of international stature, coming from Poland (Viola Wojciechowska), Canada (Dan Repsch) and the United States (Flouer Evelyn).

1. A BLUES CONCERT

A concert by the blues band The Blues Sister & Brother from Warsaw, along with guests playing harmonica and more.

1. A DANCE SOCIAL

A dance party with live music (Afro, blues) and our wonderful Harlem Beats DJs.
